Vitamins A and E by HPLC
The assay allows for the simultaneous quantitative determination of vitamin A (retinol) and vitamin E (α-tocopherol) in human serum or plasma samples by HPLC. Analytes are released from their transport proteins or lipoproteins through precipitation. They are then chromatographically separated in a single isocratic HPLC run and quantified using a UV detector.
- Option to use HPLC columns at ambient temperature or at 35 °C
- No cooling of eluates required
- No precolumn necessary
- No UHPLC needed
- Short run time of under 3 minutes
Vitamins B1 and B6 by (U)HPLC
The assay enables simultaneous determination of the active forms of vitamin B1 (TPP) and vitamin B6 (PLP) in human whole blood using HPLC or UHPLC. During sample preparation, analytes are derivatised, eliminating the need for traditional post-column derivatisation. The substances are then chromatographically separated using a binary gradient in either HPLC or UHPLC.
