Calibration Standard for the analysis of VMA, HVA, 5-HIAA in urine, primary standard solution, lyophilised
This aqueous calibration standard (order no. 1003/B) from Chromsystems is injected directly into the HPLC system without sample preparation. While following the instructions the calibrator should be measured in the same manner as a patient specimen.
This aqueous calibrator is manufactured without using any human matrices.
An alternative is the lyophilised calibrator (order no. 1009), which is based on human urine and should be used according to the instruction manual.
|Content||5 x 1 ml (lyoph.)|

|Reconstitution||Carefully remove the rubber stopper from the vial (Caution when removing the metal seal: Risk of injuries due to sharp cutting edges!). Add exactly 5.0 ml of distilled water into the vial. Replace the stopper and allow to sit for 10 to 15 minutes at room temperature. Swirl the vial to dissolve the contents until homogeneity|
Stored at +2 to +8 °C unopened calibration standards are stable until the expiry date which is stated on the vial labels.
Generally the calibration standard can be stored for two days at +2 to +8 °C. If the calibration standard cannot be analysed within this period, it should be aliquoted and stored frozen below –18 °C (up to 3 months).
