Head of Scientific Support (m/f/d)
Clinical Diagnostics (HPLC & LC-MS/MS)

Your role:

  • You will manage a team that currently has 12 highly qualified employees, both professionally and as line manager.

  • You will coordinate and support the team with installation, demonstration and training of our IVD reagent kits using HPLC and LC-MS methods at customers' laboratories around the world.

  • You will also coordinate repair and maintenance call-outs for the Support Team for the Chromsystems HPLC devices at our customers' laboratories and with local colleagues.

  • You will also be responsible for providing flexible, targeted support on all technical and application-related matters.

  • You will work closely with the (inter)national sales team, e.g. on tenders.

  • When dealing with customer queries, you will ensure that expertise from all the technical departments is incorporated into the response. 

  • Naturally, you will always focus on complying with the regulatory requirements for the internal QM system and with applicable laws and standards as well.

  • Your responsibilities will also include occasional trips to customers and distributors.


What you will bring to the role:

  • You have a scientific or technical degree with several years of professional and management experience.

  • You have expertise in providing support that is focussed on the customer and service.

  • Ideally, you have gained your knowledge of HPLC and/or LC-MS/MS analysis at a clinical chemistry laboratory or within the life science sector.

  • You have the ability to motivate, support and continuously train your team.

  • You are fluent in English and German.

  • You enjoy communicating openly and directly with your team.
