R&D Scientist (m/f/d)

Your role:

  • You will routinely support the development of innovative reagent kits for in-vitro diagnostics as member of a high-performing development team.
  • With your experience in preparing samples and chromatography, you will help solve complex issues and come up with creative solutions while consistently ensuring they are suitable for real-world application.
  • You will employ your knowledge and expertise in liquid chromatography (HLPC/UHLPC) and mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) to analyse complex analytical data for our assays.
  • During kit development, we will rely on your expertise on the application of various LC-MS/MS platforms.
  • You will compile the findings from the project team’s final report with all key information fully documented thanks to your thorough, high-precision mindset.
  • In your role as an R&D Scientist, you will assist with the preparation of the technical documentation required to maintain European/international product authorisation for our in vitro diagnostic devices.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Degree in natural sciences: Chemistry, food chemistry, pharmaceuticals or a related subject; preferably with a doctorate in LC-MS/MS method development.
  • Several years’ experience in liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry (HPLC and LC-MS).
  • In-depth knowledge of sample preparation of biological materials of human origin
  • Experience in developing, transferring and troubleshooting LC/MS analysis methods in an industrial environment is desirable
  • Proficient in researching, analysing and preparing academic and medical literature
  • Well-versed in working with MS Office and user software for analysis systems
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Highly communicative, proactive and responsible team player with strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently with a solution-driven approach
