ADLM/AACC Clinical Lab Expo 2023

Our highlights of this year's trade show
MassSTAR is a CE-validated turnkey solution specifically designed for automating clinical LC-MS/MS sample preparation with Chromsystems assays. The test menu covers MassTox® Immunosuppressants (cyclosporin A, everolimus, sirolimus, tacrolimus), 7 parameter sets of MassTox® TDM Series A (antidepressants, antiepileptic drugs, antimycotics, mycophenolic acid and neuroleptics) and MassChrom® Vitamin D (25-OH-Vitamin D2, 25 OH-Vitamin D3).
Target screening and quantitative confirmation of more than 100 drugs and metabolites within the same run. The CE-IVD validated assay includes everything, eliminating the need for developing and maintaining several in-house methods or for preparing QC materials for a multitude of analyte compounds.
The MassChrom® Amino Acid Analysis (AAA) assays in plasma/serum or urine offer the full spectrum for your amino acid analysis. You can quantify 48 amino acids in plasma/serum. Or you opt to quantify 52 amino acids and creatinine in urine in one run. Both assays are used, among other things, for the determination of metabolic diseases.
Methylmalonic acid (MMA) is an intermediate of amino acid metabolism which results from the conversion of propionyl-coenzyme A to succinyl-coenzyme A in a vitamin B12-dependent reaction, and is regarded as an early, sensitive biomarker of vitamin B12-deficiency. Vitamin B12-insufficiency leads to high concentrations of MMA in plasma, serum and urine. Our MassChrom® Methylmalonic Acid (MMA) kits allow the specific determination of methylmalonic acid in all three matrices.
According to the AACC, LDTs are of paramount importance for adequate patient care and advance in laboratory medicine, as they play a significant role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Almost all our calibrators and QCs are based on human and traceable material, such as matrix calibrators and controls for therapeutic drug monitoring and drugs of abuse testing and are all also available in the USA.
